Construct the Future

In REBUILT, two alliances of three teams each reimagine the past to engineer the future. Teams must collect and process "Fuel," navigate under restricted "Trenches," and score into the central "Hub."

The game features a rigorous packaging challenge, requiring robots to be compact enough to traverse low-clearance zones while robust enough to handle high-volume scoring.

Game Elements

Fuel

Yellow, 5.91-inch diameter high-density foam balls. Robots collect Fuel from the field or human player stations and launch them into the Hub for points.

The Trench

A structural tunnel crossing the field with a low clearance of approximately 22 inches. Robots must be designed with a low profile to navigate this shortcut efficiently.

The Objective

The field is divided by the Hub and the Trenches. Alliances must intake Fuel and rapidly score it into high and low goals within the Hub. Precision and speed are key as Fuel counts accumulate.

Ranking Point: Achieving a specific Fuel throughput threshold earns the Ranking Point.

Endgame

In the final seconds, robots must return to their hangar zone to execute a climb or suspension challenge, elevating their machines to secure final points.

Scoring Zones

High Hub

Max Points
The upper opening of the central Hub. Requires a high-velocity shooter or extending mechanism.

Low Hub

Efficiency
The base opening of the Hub. Allows for rapid dumping of Fuel for volume scoring.

Trench Run

Mobility
Successfully navigating under the trench (22" clearance) unlocks shorter cycle times across the field.

Hangar

Endgame
Robots must elevate or park in the designated zone before the timer expires.
